Parent Update: 10/1/25

Message from the Principal
Families, we did it! πŸŽ‰ Thanks to your incredible support, we reached our fundraiser goal! These funds will directly benefit our school by covering costs for field trips, buses, instructional supplies, and so much more. Your commitment to Perry Elementary strengthens our school community, and I am truly grateful for the difference you make in the lives of our students.

This year, our instructional focus is on providing strong, high-quality math lessons for every child. Our teachers are working together in planning meetings to make sure lessons, classwork, and assignments are all aligned with what students are expected to learn at each grade level. By keeping lessons clear, challenging, and consistent, we are building a strong foundation that helps every student grow and succeed.

As many of you know, I’m a big WNBA fan, and while my team is officially out of the playoffs this season (πŸ’”), I’m reminded of the lessons sports teach us—teamwork, resilience, and the drive to keep improving. Those same lessons inspire the work we do here at Perry every day as we cheer on and support our students.

With gratitude,
Erika Jackson
Principal, Perry Elementary

Title I Parent Compact & Family Engagement Policy
At Perry Elementary, we value the partnership between school and home in helping every student succeed. Our Title I School–Parent Compact outlines the shared responsibilities of the school, families, and students to support learning both in the classroom and at home. In addition, our Parent & Family Engagement Policy explains how families can be involved in decision-making, events, and activities that strengthen our school community. Both documents are available on our school website and in the front office upon request.
