Parent Update: 01/06/2026

Message from the Principal

Happy New Year, Perry Families!

I hope your winter break was filled with rest, laughter, and time with those you love. We are so excited to welcome our students back tomorrow and begin a fresh new semester together!

Just a quick reminder that school begins at 8:00 a.m., and students arriving after that time will be marked tardy. Thank you for helping us get each day off to a strong start.

If you’re interested in scheduling a spring parent conference, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher through ParentSquare, and they’ll be happy to coordinate a time with you.

Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. We’re excited for all the learning, growth, and success ahead this semester at Perry!

With appreciation,

Erika Jackson

Principal, Annette Perry Elementary School

Title I Parent Compact & Family Engagement Policy

At Perry Elementary, we value the partnership between school and home in helping every student succeed. Our Title I School–Parent Compact outlines the shared responsibilities of the school, families, and students to support learning both in the classroom and at home. In addition, our Parent & Family Engagement Policy explains how families can be involved in decision-making, events, and activities that strengthen our school community. Both documents are available on our school website and in the front office upon request.
