Welcome to the 26-27 school year at Annette Perry-the BEST school in the universe! We've completed about 9 days of school! I'm super excited to be a part of this great Falcon community! We are going to do amazing things this year! Afterall, we are the BEST school in the universe with the BEST parents! Texas Education Agency (TEA) released school ratings and our campus was rated an A campus again! Shout out to the staff, students, and families!

Whether you are returning or joining our community for the first time, we are thrilled to partner with you for a year of growth, joy, and excellence. We have an amazing opportunity for you to partner with us on August 31st! This is our first PTA meeting. We are planning to pack the cafeteria! Which grade level will have the most parents in the building?

🍴Closed Campus to visitors (Including Lunch)

To provide a strong and structured start to the year, the campus is closed to all visitors during the school day, including lunch, during the first several weeks. This time allows students to adjust to new routines, procedures, and expectations without interruption.

• Open lunch starts 9/14.

⭐Join PTA, Dad's Club, & Volunteer as a Room Champion!

We invite all Perry families to get involved by joining our amazing PTA (Parent Teacher Association). The PTA is a powerful partner in supporting our school through events, teacher appreciation, campus involvements, and student experiences.

Dad's Club is BACK! All dads/father figures will need to join PTA. (We have Father's Read coming up in October!)

Room Champion: A room champion is a parent or guardian who helps coordinate classroom celebrations, supports teachers with special projects, and builds community in the classroom. It's a fun and meaningful way to stay involved. All school volunteers (including Dad's Club, Room Champions and event helpers) must register through PTA.

Attendance Reminders

Being at school every day matters! Regular attendance helps students stay connected to learning, keep up with classroom instruction, and build strong routines.

Please remember:

• After an absence, families have 3 days to provide a parent or doctor note for the absence to be considered excused
• Late arrivals and early pick-ups are recorded as unexcused tardies unless a doctor’s note is provided.

I’m Mrs. Nena Johnson Annett, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Perry. I am excited to work alongside our students, staff, and families to make this a year filled with learning, growth, kindness, and success.

Counselor's Corner

Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year at Annette Perry Elementary! I am Crystal Constante, and I am beginning my 10th year here at the Best School in the Universe as your School Counselor. I have really enjoyed seeing new and returning faces at Perry over the past days! I am here to work alongside our Perry community to help our students have an academically and social-emotionally successful school year.

A little about me – My husband and I moved to Mansfield ten years ago from East Texas and are parents to four daughters, Corinne, Camille, Cerisse, & Celesse. All four girls have been a part of Mansfield ISD and have been at great schools, had the most wonderful teachers, and have had opportunities to have fantastic extracurricular experiences. I am excited to start a new school year and I cannot wait to see what new and positive experiences this school year will bring.
