Meet Angelina Gutierrez, Annette Perry's new Assistant Principal. This is her first year as an administrator and prior to this she was was teaching fourth grade in Mansfield ISD. She was hired as the ESL Lead at Alma Martinez Intermediate before accepting the Assistant Principal position at Perry Elementary. Currently, she is performing both jobs until someone is hired to replace her at Martinez. Mrs. Gutierrez attended Navarro College, UNT Dallas, and Southern Methodist University. She began her teaching career in Mesquite ISD teaching bilingual third grade.

• She has been married to her husband, Omar, for four years
• They have a son named Mateo
• She loves coffee, traveling and crafting
